Vibrations

This installation follows the stories
lying hidden in the cracks of this planet.

It wraps the visitor in a full experience of sound, smell, light and touch. It lets us discover the beautiful complex reality we live in...

Constructed Natures

These wild systems of cohabitation are challenging the idea of living and accommodation. Scattered into the landscape these raw and unfinished structures, clusters of natural boulders resting on computationally constructed rocks, generate a decentralized system of overlapping components and evolving parts where the human is just one string in the mesh of the ever-changing whole...

Earth Works

Earthworks question the boundary between the internal and the external world, between Man and Environment.

Accepting their irreconcilable, yet inseparable natures...

Altered Atmospheres

We are embedded in a field of sensory experience in constant flux, full of smell, sound, touch, taste, and color that is emitted from the environment and pressed into our bodies and minds. Perception as the simultaneous exchange of information between the mind, body, and environment. Information oscillating in and out of the body, shaping us and our context in perpetual flux...

Lithifications

Dirt carries in it memories of what came before, both literally and figuratively. An infolding of memory, energy, and sense of place. Plastic has become embedded in this history, in the very foundations of the earth which we live on/from. The boundary between the earth and ourselves, if ever it existed, becoming increasingly intertwined...

Ophelia

A bitter sweet story of beauty and evanescence. A young girl drowning in a river surrounded by flowers while singing. Ophelia, a dramatic character in Shakespeare's Hamlet, but also the story of humans in nature, the urge to live and order versus the desire to be one with it. Suspended in constantly oscillating tension...

Feral Pastures

The research traces the evolution of the “Feral” house, details the lives it lives, and speculates on the lives it has yet to live. The “ideal” domesticated house is traded in for one that exploits its formal potential, producing multiple readings of itself through various operations: splitting, cracking, bowing, bending, leaning, and falling its way into character...

Ø

A source of revolution and evolution, the current state of plastic in our society is simultaneously wonderful and haunting. Embedded within our bodies, fused with nature itself, found in nearly every corner of the world, it is an undeniable reality...

Jewelery Botanica

Humans have been decorating their bodies with the beauty of nature for thousands of years. Early humans wore necklaces made from the bones, claws and teeth of slain animals, and to this day we cannot resist picking up a beautiful flower or pebble. This jewelry is an ongoing investigation into decorating our bodies with pieces from the environment and reconnect us to the spaces we inhabit.
